Here at Camp Emmanuel we believe that camp is so much more than sleeping in a cabin and being entertained for a week. We know that camp offers people the opportunity to leave the comforts and distractions of home and come to a new, quiet place where they can hear more clearly and have a personal encounter with Jesus through hearing the Word. being in fellowship with believers, and worshipping Him freely.

Our mission is the great commission, which we see take place each week. “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Teaching them to obey all the commands I have given you.” 

We have staff  members and volunteers leave their homes to serve and to share the truth and joy of the Gospel of Jesus  with campers. Through their obedience, the Holy Spirit moves!! Some accept Jesus for the first time, others are drawn closer to Him. But undoubtedly, He is with us and we are forever changed!! (At camp 2023 we had 14 get baptized and around 40 salvations!)

This is why we do camp, so that all that will come will have an encounter with Christ. If you are looking for something to be part of this summer that will be meaningful, purposeful, impactful and fun, you should consider coming on mission for a week with us at Camp Emmanuel!
